Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve this year was spent in Texas with my mom's side of the family at Nana's house! It was so great to catch up with almost all of my cousins. The picture above is Nana with all her grandkids and great grandkids. Check out the post below this one to see the homemade gifts Barrett and I took to Nana's house for our gift exchange! Before we headed to Nana's house we made sure to take a few pictures!

Check out the goofs creeping in our picture! haha!

Sorry this isn't turned the right way, but my cousin Corrie gave this to my Nana and I LOVE it!

LOVE her! Rhonda!

And the night would not be complete without the "silly face" picture. All I have to say about this picture is....wow! :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Eve! We sure did!

Homemade Christmas Presents

This year for Christmas gifts at Nana's house everyone had to make their Christmas gifts. I have to admit I was pretty stressed about making a gift to give, but I think Barrett and I ended up doing a pretty good job.
Below is a picture of the frame I painted. The picture was actually taken before the ceramic was "fired", so the end result looked a lot better. Unfortunately, I forgot to get a picture of the frame finished. My cousin Cristan ended up with the frame and I think she really liked it!

The next picture is what Barrett ended up making. I was so impressed with his work. I really figured I would end up making his gift, but he did all the work himself! My brother ended up taking Barrett's handy-work home and he seemed to really like it!

It was really neat seeing what everyone made, and it made all the gifts really personal.
Who knows, we may have created a new tradition!

1st of Many Christmas Posts

This year we are spending Christmas in Texas! Before we headed to Texas for the holidays we spent the weekend with Barrett's family. We were able to finish up our Christmas shopping and eat the Christmas dinner at Barrett's parent's church. These are a couple of pictures we took with our niece, Aubrey Grace.

Stay tuned for more Christmas posts!
